Rock Ridge Arabians is a small breeding farm in Scottsdale, Arizona, prior to relocating to Scottsdale Darrell, Sandy & their daughter Cammie Coker started breeding Arabians in Anchorage, Alaska in 1991.

Their first horse was a Quarter Horse, and shortly after they were introduced to Arabian horses and fell in love with the Arabian breed. Cammie went to work for Midwest Training Center in 1995 and was fortunate to learn a lot about grooming and conditioning.

Because of their growing interest in Arabian horses the family ventured to Scottsdale and developed Rock Ridge Araboians. After seeing the legendary stallion Padrons Psyche ("Psyche") they decided to purchase a  couple of breedings to him  and then set out to find what they thought would be the perfect mare to breed to Psyche. They found the Aladdinn daughter Tomorrows Dream and bred her to Psyche. That breeding resulted in the beautiful bay colt, Psymadre. In 1997 Psymadre would become the Reserve Champion Stallion at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and then in 1998 he would be crowned Grand Champion Scottsdale Stallion. At that Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show Psymadre caught the eye of David Murdock and in March of 1998 Psymadre went to live at Mr. Murdock's Ventura Farms.

History repeats itself,  with a second breeding to Psyche the Cokers bred the mare NV Tiara Bey and produced the beautiful chestnut stallion Psytanium. The following year Psytanium would become the 1999 National Champion Yearling Colt. Psytanium remained the Coker's top breeding stallion for many years to follow.

Today the breeding program at Rock Ridge continues to produce one outstanding foal after another. The Coker's extend a warm welcome to visit their farm on your next visit to Scottsdale.
